Alder Finch is one of the handcrafted Founding Residents of Pebblewood, individually designed and handcrafted in the Boyne Valley, Ireland.  Alder Finch stands at 27cm tall.

As Pebblewood’s vegetable gardener, Alder tends the vegetable beds, keeping a careful eye on what is growing and what might be ready for harvesting. His individually needle-felted carrots accompany him, each one handmade by Pat from wool and created especially for Alder Finch.

Description

Hand knitted in natural wool fibres, Alder wears mustard coloured dungarees finished with wooden heart buttons and a fabric patch, together with his knitted hat and satchel. His clothing and accessories are individually made and finished by hand, with a needle-felted heart on his right paw completing the details unique to this Resident.

Alder Finch is a one-of-a-kind collectible textile bear, bringing together traditional knitting, needle felting and hand-finished details in an original character created for Pebblewood.

Approximately 27cm tall x 19cm width x 9cm depth. Measurements are approximate as each Resident is individually handmade.

The printed cards are produced by The Factory in County Offaly, Ireland on Crush paper - 40% recycled, including grape and sweet corn by-products, with the balance from sustainably managed forests.

Packaging has been chosen to minimise unnecessary plastics while protecting your Resident during its journey.

Shipping and Returns

We currently ship to Ireland and Northern Ireland only, using An Post tracked delivery. Shipping is €7.00. European shipping is not currently available.

Every item currently available on our website has already been handmade. Orders are usually dispatched within 3 to 5 working days, and An Post takes a further 3 to 5 working days.

Commissioned pieces are made to order and take longer. We agree a timeline with you before any commission begins.
