Magenta Merino Wool Baby Matinee Coat

The entire coat, including the sleeves, is individually lined in printed tartan-design fabric in purple, green and black. The lining adds warmth and structure while giving the inside the same considered finish as the exterior. Gentle gathering through the lower body creates the fuller, traditional matinee shape.

One of the most distinctive details is the neckline, which is finished with an original hand-braided tartan trim. Coordinating tartan-covered buttons are paired with handknitted fastening loops, carrying the tartan detailing from the interior through to the exterior of the coat.

This is an original Crafty Pebblers design, individually knitted, lined and finished by Pat in the Boyne Valley, Co. Meath, Ireland. The piece is shaped in the knitting, fully lined, and finished with the braided neckline trim and button detailing.

Made from fine merino wool with a printed fabric lining, the coat is soft and breathable while providing a warm outer layer for a new baby.

Sized for approximately 3 to 6 months. Please check the measurements before purchasing, as fit is best determined by finished measurements rather than age alone.
